Transmission GONE..

Got the pump shaft changed and it was definitely wore out. Now, every single solenoid clip broke taking them off. What the recommended method for getting them to stay in now? I've heard super glue. Maybe zip ties??
 


Well snap... Was cleaning the driveway up where I was working on the car and found this.. No idea where it goes or if it's even part of this car. Does it look familiar at all? I wonder if it's a seal for the oil pump??
