Hey i have a grand prix 05 and ive been iseing Castrol dextron III and ive been wondering if switch fluids and add dextron vi since ive heard its better ??
 


If you've already been running Dexron 3 just leave it be.

Going to a different fluid isn't going to change anything. It's not like people do fluid swaps often, maybe every 70-100k miles.
 
I used DexIII for the first 4-5 years of owning my car. A few years back I lost my buddy that did my trans changes, so the shops I've been using since follow the "rules" and use DexVI. As long as you do regular fluid changes, either fluid is fine.
