Trans Upgrade what gear ratio?

Gonna be pulling the trans out with the motor to upgrade it. I have a 300m input shaft on the way along with the hardened 4th gear. Going to be getting the single chain. I have a stock 65e HD. What gear size are people running are the 3.29 ratio that much better? On TEP website they say the 2.93s tend to be a little stronger? Any thoughts? Also, anything else I can do while its out? Not looking for a full all out build just some basic stuff while its out. Transgo shift kit going it as well. Thanks for any input!!

On an M90 car I like 3.29's over 2.93's. I don't exactly get why they'd be "stronger" but I can see them lasting longer.
Thats what was thinking as well. Just wanted to be sure but here is what the site says. Its at the bottom. It says they recommend the 2.93s over the 3.29s for higher hp builds but most people switch to the 3.29s ratio.

Well all the 4t65e-hd's came with 2.93 I believe. Not positive though. And think about it they don't change the ratio as much either, less output torque.
