Trans problem after solenoid change

I have read this forum for a couple months now since purchasing my 2000 grand prix and would like to say thanks and I have learned quite a bit. The car has 100,000 miles on it and drove pretty well for the first month. It than started to not want to go into gear one day and the service engine light came on. A little ways down the road it lost all gears. I was able to make it the couple miles back home by shutting it off and waiting to get another 200 feet. I hooked it up to the diagnostic and got some codes and proceeded to read. I ended up following the info on here and replacing the 4 solenoids and the gasket for the case. Dropped the pan, got a new filter and used the old gasket. The job came out well. No leaks and drove. Its about a month later and it's acting the same way. I was on my way up north and halfway through for no apparent reason i got the service engine light and it lost all gears. I got it back to my house and have gotten it to go in reverse and forward but for only a very very short time. It basically won't go into gear and if you let it sit sometimes it will move a few feet than lose all gears. The car battery was dead (I think the door got left cracked open) and after I jumped it there is no service engine light and its not throwing codes. I have read some things it could be but seems hard to tell unless I rip the trans apart. If the solenoid went bad again or I got a faulty part shouldn't it throw a code? The new solenoids were put in less than two moths ago. I guess it could be several other things. I just put this thing back together and was looking for some advice. Thanks. This community has taught me quite a bit.

Ok that post was long. To sum up 2000 daily driver that doesn't go forward or backwards. Replaced all 4 trans solenoids and changed the fluid and filter. I got it to randomly back up and pull forward into the driveway. Now no movement, no codes. Any good guesses?

Most trans codes will not throw a CEL. You have to have it scanned by a GM Tech-II or the like to read trans codes. Most trans shops will read it for you.

What is the code it was showing the last time before you replaced the solenoids?

It post the codes for the tc and shift solenoid. Thanks for the response. I replaced the four solenoids and it drove for a couple weeks till it lost everything. At the moment it's at a trans shop thats going to swap it out. I have a few in mind and I'm waiting on a response from a salvage near home. They hooked the diagnostic up. No codes. Checked the pressure. Went from 150 at park (way high guess) to 0 within a minute. Hope this helps someone else out. Anything besides a new trans i would have attempted. I just need the car running.

Thanks dan
