trans cooler and oil cooler

I am trying to reduce temps, so was thinking about installing a trans cooler and an oil cooler. I want the trans cooler to be dedicated, so do I have to block of the old holes the tranny lines went into on the radiator?

Also, was wondering if i would get any benefit from these as these will being in front of my condensor, will these be blocking air flow?
 


I had AAMCO install an auxiliary tranny cooler in my '01 GTP before I had a trailer hitch installed to tow a sportbike.

A 180 t-stat also helped to keep temps down. So far so good. The tranny fluid was changed at 60k and it still looks nice and pink at 98k.
