Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Tranny Tools Needed for Rebuild

Lets make a list of tranny tools absolutely needed to rebuild a 4t65e and also what tools make your life a little easier as well.

Also lets post pictures of peoples engine supports that were purchased and where you got them from.

Clutch spring compressor, something like a hose clamp to re-size the Teflon seal rings, and a $9 seal puller from Napa.

I'm not sure what tools you would need to pull/press bearings.

Any particular links to stores/sites that are recommended for tranny tool purchases. I know they make different spring compressors so just curious what most people recommend.

The Kinetic tool will work, with some effort...

On the second clutch spring, you need to use something to distribute the force evenly, to avoid bending up the spring assembly; I used an old 2nd clutch piston inverted:

Which still lets you get to the locking ring:

On the input/3rd assembly, the threadead rod is not long enough, so you have to improvise:

PS, that OTC tool looks just like the Kinetic to me, but at 3x the price.
