im new to these forums, i have a 99 monte carlo 3.8 with the 4t65e.
when going uphill, or with any kind of load, the tranny will feel like its slipping for a fraction of a second (3 or 4th gear), but not slip completely out of gear. almost exclusively happens in low rpm situations.
no error codes, 125K, mostly clean fluid, a little clucth material, and i recently replaced the plugs.
i figured id have to replace the tranny, but it might be better to see if anyone knows about this problem first.
