Tranny question....

I know I asked this before. What RPM are you at around 60mph? I'm trying to figure this car out. I just got my tranny rebuilt and something doesn't seem right. I'm at about 2500-2600 and that just doesn't seem right to me? Possibly the tune that this has in it?

Sounds like you're missing 4th should be around 1700ish I think

Drop it to 3rd and see if it is any different. To me it seems like you don't have 4th though.

I did.... Nothing happened. Is there a chance the pcm tune can be toying with it? I just had it rebuilt...

Send it back, however rebuilt it messed up. The tune has nothing to do with it.

I bet if you were to hook up a scan tool it will command the 3-4 shift and nothing happens.

Yeah, I had my buddy scan it before I had it rebuilt and the scanner would say it's in 4th gear when it clearly wasn't...He's bringing the scanner back over tomorrow after work so we will see what happens...

Probably a seal or piston in the 4th support. Since all three other gears work, you know the solenoids are all working.
