My pan is starting to seep and with 93k do u think it would be ok to drop the pan and redo the gasket ? I've herd it can be harmful to do this releasing the friction materal ans causing tranny to slip but I don't want it dripping all over driveway. And its bothering me hah. I acsses to a lift. A tranny flush machine . Wyanns no slip bottle stuff . Kind of irrevelant but whatever thank you

Drop the pan, change the filter and as long as the gasket has ridges on it and metal in it.. wipe and reuse it. Clean all your gasket surfaces. Put in one quart of wyanns or lucas stop slip and then you likely need about 6.5 quarts of trans fluid.

This will not hurt your transmission. This is considered normal service.
