Tranmission question with top swap

I blew my trans into pieces the other day. So the engines going to be pulled and a re manufactured trans in. Its a 02 gt and im planning on doing the top swap when the motor is out. Will a re manufactured gt trans hold up find with the top swap?

the HD trans is no stronger than the non-HD, it just has a better diff which you shouldnt mess up unless you drive like an idiot anyway.

Personally, I don't think the diff upgrade is worth the money. Has anyone seen a diff failure other than the pinion shaft/spider gear issues? Either diff will have those problems. So what does the upgrade really get you?

i ran mine HARD and it took everything i gave it.
