Trailing arm mount bolt

Hey guys, so I put on the gmpp trailing arms on my 04 gp gt last summer. I noticed last week that the bracket which mounts the front of the arm to the chassis was missing one bolt on each side. Now that I think back one bolt on each side had trouble going in. (I probally cross threaded them in) So now that each bracket has one out of two bolts I think that I need to repair this asap. My question is 1. what size is the bolt ( diameter, pitch, length) and 2. what is the best way to repair it, I was thinking a threaded insert ( helicoil). Let me know what you think. thanks

I can give you an answer tomorrow morning... I have some spares when I did mine. Found a hardware store that actually had flanged metric bolts. It's 10mm, can't remember the pitch or length but will get in the morning...

As far as fixing the hole, you could get a 10mm tap and clean the threads if they aren't damaged. What I found with mine was all the crap from years of dirt and grime getting into the exposed thread part behind the nut...

One of the bolts snapped off and had to drill the remaining out.
