trade offer should i take it



Mine has the 3.8 n/a. Are the sc 3.8's pretty reliable? id be driveing it about 500 miles a week. and what should i look for
 
Oh then in that case, yes lol.

Look for rust in the trunk on the strut towers. The rocker panels and the gas area. Also check the trans fluid and drive it to check for slippage.
 


He offerd me it so i guess he just likes gp's lol but I'm meeting up with him saturday and seen another post about what to look for so I'm gonna go thru everything well because my 3 month old will be rideing in it lol
 
damn, thats a deal. just give it the once over like that buyers guide thread says, if it all checks out its a win for you.
 
Don't forget you will also have to run premium fuel (91 or greater) in a GTP. And being a 99 you will have to re-do the LIM gaskets again, same as on your SE.
 


Went ahead and met with the guy today. transmission sounded like chains rattleing in park lol was beat up and supercharger sounded like crap so i was nope no way lol
 
What would have been that noise in the tranny at idle? jw because my car makes the same noise lightly. like chains rattleing and a cai sound
