Traction Control making engine misfire?

Having a little problem with my 98 gt . The last few days we have had some heavy snow, and this morning driving to work i had a little wheel spin crossing an intersection getting out of the way of some dick head. So i hear it cut the engine out, the low trac light came on, then went off, but the car still continued to run like crap after that,. It would not idle and left me on the side of the road for 20mins . then fired the car up and it ran ok. i did have the cel on , i scanned it and got the p0300 random misfire code. So later on in the day i took it for another drive, turned the tcs off, and drove it a little hard on a snowy road to get some wheel spin to see if i could re create the misfire but couldnt with the tcs off. soon as i turned it back on, gave it some wheel spin, the low track light came on, then went off, and started running like crap. got the p0300 after that again too.. I cant locate a schematic of the tcs system. wondering if anyone has any ideas....

Try to keep your gas tank full in the winter. Condensation can build up in the tank and I know my car was running like crap for a while with even a fresh tune-up until someone told me to try that and it seemed to help.

The TCS system induces a power reduction through KR and cutting out of some cylinders to hold back power. That is understandable when you are spinning etc. Once the traction is returned and light goes out, it shouldn't continue as the pcm shouldn't be seeing a tire spinning condition.

If you replicate the issue, then turn TCS off, does the problem go away?
