I would run a cooler at a minimum. Often times with towing, its not the weight but the wind resistance. You can't base it solely on weight. More info on the trailer and such would help.
No honestly the ranger would look cooler I point and laugh when I see a car pulling a trailer habaIn the long run it's probably just not worth the risk. It would just look so much cooler than my 4.0L Ranger but hey it works.
Thanks to all.
But the difference is the wind resistance and drag. Iv drove my dads car with like 900lbs+ worth of people and crap in it. The rear suspension was bottoming out on a pebble and the car had no power, N/a with the AC on and lots of 4th occelation.I hauled 1200lbs. of flooring tile in my GTP 700 miles with no ill effects. Other than driving more conservative and planning my stops further in advance, It was all interstate driving too, at 70-80 mph, really not much different than a load of passengers and luggage. One thing to be aware of with the L67, you do not want drive continuously while in boost.

Minivans, the best multipurpose vehicle.This. Trucks are meant for hauling stuff. Cars, not so much.
