• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So I got into an accident yesterday morning. Dude didn't stop at a two way stop sign. I was going 60, and then this.

I got my first ambulance ride. Broken clavicle.
Minnesota is a no fault state, but if it weren't, it'd be squarely on his 70 year old shoulders. I'm worried about the potential outcome. I'll call my insurance company in the morning and hopefully they can help me out, cuz today went by without a call from the guy or his insurance.

It was actually a really unique experience, and I'd love to expand on it once I can type with both hands again :S

looks like a hard hit for sure, speedy recovery, hope the other driver was okay as well. ...plenty more gp's in the world

No **** man, that's sucks big time.

I was just through St. Cloud yesturday driving a box van, I hate those 2 way stop sign roads up there because I've seen people never stop like that. Imagine a 11,000lbs van doing something to that thing....

Our state sucks balls with the no fault stuff but surely they should rule in your favor, no way they couldn't because how else does that kind of crash happen. Ambulance rides aint cheap either.

Like, forgive my ignorance, but it'd be up to the insurance companies, right? Let them duke it out?

Also, the other guy refused treatment. I'm so relieved he had no passengers... They would NOT have made it.

Holy smokes. Man. It all begins when the police report is complete. Put all of everything out of your head. Be sure your insurance knows, thats all for now. Witnesses, witnesses too. It seems obvious though. You lay low and relax. I don't know laws in your state but am too familiar with this in mine. Just heal up.

Being a crash fixing man I gotta say that GP body did a mighty fine job on it's way out. (hums taps)

One of the cars that stopped to help... Another white GP.

At the risk of sounding melodramatic, I think I owe my gp my life!

I think she'll buff out. I drive a mini van full of kids. Your photos are making me rethink my choice of family car.. cuz that would have killed my wife and at least 2 of my kids. Im glad your are not seriously hurt your car took it like a champ!

To be fair, you probably wouldn't have rolled through that stop at 20 like this old dude!

i had a guy pull out from a stop sign i had the right of way t boned the dumbass totalled my gtp, ripped the front pass wheel off his tahoe, they pulled the no fault state crap i waited and waited finally started badgering both insurance companies multiple times daily finally they said you need to turn it in under your own policy so got screwed there, minnesota is great for this. hope for a speedy recovery. looks like hwy 10?

It's highway 4 south of paynesville... Three miles down from where I hit a deer on the same stretch of road.

Wow, that sucks. Glad you're overall okay. Was just kinda over in that area today on my way to Hutchinson.

What you plan on doing with the car?

I'm gonna let it go. I have no idea what's gonna happen as far as a settlement goes. I have no idea what the number will be. Probably not much, but I'm missing work.

If it's a decent number, I'll get something else. If it's not, I'll either put winter tires on the FR-S or worse, have to sell it and get a nicer DD.

**** deal man could have been worse!

looks like the car fared much better than that van damn!!

more gp's in the world they are plentiful.

Update - I called his insurance company yesterday. He hadn't filed a claim yet. He had two full business days to go it, and he didn't. So I opened one for him 😈 they let me open it on his policy, and the agent seemed to support me. I was in contact with my agent, and the automotive part is officially in insurance hands. Tomorrow I get a medical adjuster assigned to me, and that's the scary part to me. It's where I stand to either get helped out or totally screwed over. Any insight would be much appreciated.
