Torque Star Polish.

Hey guys. my 01 has the chrome torque star rims. No matter what mothers polish or products i use, they always dry kind of dull due to the appearance of very miniscule scratches. I was wondering A. What are these rims made of? and B what is a good polish to use? because mothers wheel polish isn't cutting it. Thanks
 


the are polished aluminum with a clear coat. think of them like working on the paint on your car. whatever youd use to clean that, use the same on the wheels and theyll end up looking great. dont use anything that will scratch them more.
 
One other key thing that would be helpful is what polish exactly are you using?

If you are using a metal polish on chrome or clearcoated wheels, this is why you are having problems.
