torque mngmt . . . abuse mode, what to remove?

ok so on my 06 gxp i need to be able to spin the tires at the strip, but dont want to remove more than i have to from the tune. what i do now is i turn off trac control and i can spin the tires at halfish throttle but if i go full spin the car cuts (fuel or spark?) and kinda ****s up my intentions. so yea, how do i fix that?

No idea what you are tuning with.

HP Tuners is easy to turn off abuse based off RPM and speed and can be done for the engine pretty easy aswell.

Just make sure you leave the spark pull at shifts. Other than that, enjoy.

it takes a severe flogging to enable abuse mode. I have never found it in my fiero before, its typically enabled at extreme transmission temperatures.

I, well my tuner and I, will be using my diablosport. which he has full access to tune. like i mentioned, im not sure what is causing it but i would really like to be able to spin the tires more than 2 seconds.
Also, i am guessing when i dyno tune this winter that there is a chance it will pull power thinking im spinning?

Sounds like diff score is kicking in, but there are plenty of other tables that keep the trans from grenading. however are you logging these events while they happen? Hp tuners will let you know which tq mgmt is in effect along with many others. Far more info than the diablo ever gave me..which is why I got rid of mine very quickly.
