Torque Conv unlock / relock question

With my 06 GP GT - On a flat straight road at 65mph my torque converter unlocked then relocked like 3 times in about a mile. I had the cruise set and wasn't touching the pedals at all w/ ac on.

It did the drive again later and it unlocked and relocked once but didn't do it 3 times in a row...same stretch of road and no / low wind. Just seems rather odd since i can get it locked into Overdrive w/o cruise at 45-50 w/ ac on.

Any ideas on whats causing it to do this? I'm thinking its the different tables that the PCM uses for cruise / combined w/ the tranny not being warmed up to ~180.
 


mine did this for a while then the tranny popped. still does it though even with the new transmission so it could have been unrelated.
 
Eh its still doing it some, but only with cruise control....gonna say the tranny is fine just the PCM is trying to kill it.
 
Yes it was a perfectly straight flat stretch of road, nothing but bad programming for the cruise control.
 
i know this is old forum, but probable your ac cycles off and on and effects the power and its like when it comes to slight grade will power the engine on.
