Topswap question

So I was wondering, after I topswap my 2000 GT, can I run a stock GTP PCM until I get mine tuned? I know I would have to do a security and case relearn, but that's no problem.

Code:
A stock GTP pcm wont work unless you change the VIN and what not I dont think. You'll need at least a basic tune to start it.

EDIT: The more I think about it, I dont see why it wouldnt... except the VINs being different...

Good point....hmmmm...there's no one around me to tune on a dyno or anything, so I have to get a canned tune from ZZP or somewhere.

When I did my '97 GT, I used that pcm and just adjusted the timing and fueling. Started with a stock timing table from an '02 GTP, and ran it rich to start off then slowly leaned it out. I also had an xp and ssic on there, and only a 3.5" pulley so I wasn't worried about kr. Without a powrtuner I wouldn't even have considered doing all that work, without a tuner, why not just go L67/hd swap and use the gtp pcm? Or is it already too late for that?

I've been looking around for canned tunes, and ZZP has theirs offered with either a topswap option (another $75), or their L36 Supercharger Kit option which is free...I know the kit comes with fuel logs, but would that change anything? I figured I can select the swap kit option and save $75 because it'll be the same?
