Top Swap Shopping List and a question



If anybody is interested here are all the parts I have so far. Picked up the SC tensioner and MAP today ordered valve covers from Milzy Motorsports today. Only thing I have left to pick up is the "special tensioner bolt" from the dealership.

and yet another question..
in the thread I went through all 15 pages and couldnt find the answer
"Top Swap Info and Faqs, Also lots of 3800 Info"

it says to buy SC tensioner and idler. do those attach to the coil pack bracket? and will I have to order bolts from a GM dealership or reuse something that I might be taking off?
 
the SC tensioner bolts to the side of the coil bracket.

top right is the tensioner and under it with the pulley off is the idler.

you need the tensioner bolt for it.

Billboost! I saw you mention to another member about adding wiring for a BBV to his 98 to 97 swap. What is a BBV and will I need to do this on my 04+ swap.. I have so far bought injector wires from zzp and gt to gtp MAP adapter from caspers electronics.
 
My gt coil bracket screws did not screw into the new coil pack bracket. you should check yours and if they dont fit, have a tap on hand.
