Does this look clean enough to start putting the gaskets on and heads? Also i noticed this piece was broke its supposed to have 4 things and only has 3. How important is that and what would i need to fix it? 01GrandPrixGT's Library | Photobucket

The lifter retainer is the piece im talking about.

That little thing is there just to hold bolt in so you don't loose it down the lifter valley.

Looks fine, just spray it down with brake clean and wipe it down before you lay the gasket/head on it.
