what is the top speed of these cars ? I was told that there was a govener at 167 km/h. I had mine going well over that, it hit 200 km/h and the hud went blank. The car is a 1998 gtp should there be a govener on it ?
 


you didnt hit it yet. 200 km/h = 120 mph?

its like 121 or 124 or something. unless it is removed, which is very plausible.
 
Well for me it with 3.29 gears i didnt have much more to spare. Excuse my dumb ass roomate screaming. My girlfriend was in the back seat not saying a word. Go figure.

Too bad i didnt have a 6 speed like that svt cobra that was basicly walking me. He ran 13.0 at the track with slicks.


 


wow..I seriously need to get into my computer. I wish I had an easy way to do it. Cuz I don't want to waste my time and do a "little" bit of tuning before I do serious modding and have to really tune for real. Grr..I'm jelous. I would be happy with 140-150mph. Not that I have anywhere to go that fast, but it would be cool to say.:D

The "governor" is set to the speed setting of the tires, so your 03 may have come with tires only rated for 105mph, so at the factory, the "governor" was set at 105
