Nice car. I thought maybe you converted it into a GTX because you have the torgue star rims and not the SLP GTX 6-spoke rims that come with a GTX package.

6-spoke wheels were an option too. I had a GTX with the bare minimum. Hood, CAI, badges, and "official sticker" denoting it as a real GTX. No tips, wheels, spoiler, etc.

thats right and i finally found nice slp 17s the chrome ones in great shape, cant wait to get them on. You might of saw it in the visual appearance part, i put pics of them in there

Very nice about the 17" SLP rims. I am thinking fo buying the 16" SLP GTX rims from another member. They are not chrome but dark gray. I would love to hear what others think of those rims.

i think the 16" gunetal GTX replica wheels are ugly. the 17" ones are MUCH nicer.

They are replicas? They were made by SLP and are the 16" GTX wheels. I do like the gunmetal look but we all have our personal preferences.

i dont think slp actually ever did a gtx with the gunmetal 16s? they just sold those after the chrome 17s were discontinued, am i right?

That sounds right but not exactly sure. These rims advertised though were made by SLP and are GTX 16". It makes sense that they made the chrome 17" rims for the GTX and then afterwards made other GTX rims. In any case, they do look good but I may hold off in buying them for now. The Seller is asking way too much ($499 plus shipping) for the 4 rims (1 used and 3 new). Who knows, maybe a great set of 17" chrome GTX rims will come my way soon.

Chrome GTX 17" are originals, and are they only ones that came on GP GTX's, IF they came at all. As I mentioned above, not all of them had said wheels.

Edit: And yes, believe it or not, they are chrome, the angle is just... weird.
