Killa Bee
haven't had a garden in years and years, so this year i potted 6 tomatoes and put them out on my balcony, i get sun from sunrise to sunset, aka all day long, these should be huge soon.

Hell yeah, my wife's grandfather brings us homegrown vegetables every once in awhile. She made some chili with some deer meat and homegrown tomatoes he brought us one time, that **** was on point.

I really hope you like tomatoes. Idk if its that ive always had crazy amounts come from one plant or every plant is like that but six my god lol

i give away the extras, 2 plants or 6, theres always a home for fresh NJ tomatoes.

i used to have 10 in my back yard garden, used to give bags away every week, at lease gave away what we knew we could not eat. cant let them rot and waste.

same went for the straw berry's, always giving out a bag here and there. its a race against the ants once they get ripe. so pick, eat/give em away or the bugs get them fast.

the pants cost a buck each, so i look at like free fruit for everyone.

Awesome Scotty!
I enjoy my garden visits, my "tomatos" are doing really nice this year!:th_biggrin2:

What variety of tomatoes? We planted our fall garden 2 weeks ago. We have the same problem with strawberries and ants.

hybrid beefsteaks, i planted late, these are supposed to grow 14 oz tomatoes.

these are planted in pots 7 floors up, so no ants here. ants love all fruits it seems, they are every where. strawberry's, tomatoes peaches, figs, they are all full of ants here.

i plan on taking one inside for the winter, i got a full sun widow for it to live in, maybe it will keep putting out. only one way to tell.

nothing wrong with green tomatoes either.
