Re: TLSheff - Silver Clunker Needs Help
So I decided, I can't do this...
... at least not with income tax monies. Gonna be a slow progression, but I'll get there.
That being said, money was still spent. About $1,500 to the car loan, leaves about $600 which will be paid off completely in just a couple months. I was going to be left with about $500-600 to play with, couldn't decide between some new computer upgrades, or maybe a couple go-fast parts, I need a 3.4 pulley and a drop, maybe a mix...
No. :th_shakinghead1:
GF goes... Baaaaaabbbyyy. :th_crying1: Spring is on the way, and I want to redo the flower bed and get rid of those ugly bushes and make it nice.
Dam... now I like getting laid, and nothing stops that faster than "My car is more important than you", so guess what I got to do over the weekend.
Now I know they aren't completely level, I give no cares. It got dark right as I finished, looked level in the light, close enough. That single bush will be transposed to the other side, more soil added, red mulch put down to protect it, and later part of march we get to add stuff. Still got some work to do, will update once finished, but I got tired and the weekend ended.
I forgot how intense manual labor is on the body, my comfy stool at work behind the desk keeps me not-so-inshape. Need to get more active. ugh...
But the GF is happy, its coming along and that makes me happy. Car gets mods later on.
A little was still spent on the car tho, a trip to Best buy after shopping around and $300 later I have a Pioneer DEH-X8500BH reciever to install, and all the brackets, harness, etc... to do it with.
Looks like this ^^^ but went all Amber colored so it matched the rest of the factory dash. Lame but one day I may change it all when LEDs start burning out.
I needed a new radio, had fixed mine a couple times, CD player stopped working, bypassed to front AUX input for phone use. Prior to that the EQ would randomly reset itself regardless of where the knobs were, so I'd have to drop them all down and level back out, then recently it started losing the whole right channel front and back. Got ridiculous so I thought I need to just buy a new deck, wanted to get a woofer/amp installed sometime anyways, so that's first step.
