Title/Contract issues...

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, I bought my car at a dealership that got me financed through some bank with a high interest rate. Anyways, I got the title for my car in the mail the other day and I am the only one on the title and my car is DEFINITELY not paid off. So am I the owner of this car now or does the bank still have me by the balls(figuratively)?:th_wtf:

they still got you the only time they are on the title is if it is a lease but finaced cars only you are on the title

you can most defiantly expect a call or a letter from the bank asking you to send it back to them.

when i got my boat, some how i got the title, and a week later i got the letter and phone calls for it to be sent back.


PS: make 6 months worth of on time payments and go refinance it, f hi interest rates.

I've never seen just the person on the title on a financed car, the bank should be the only person on the title until you have paid it off. Same with the reg you will get. Man the slipped up big time on that

im thinking you meant a leased car only has the bank on it,(a leased car is like a rental) if financed you own it, the bank just loaned you the money, thats why they hold the title.

i leased one truck, and bought it out at the end, and iirc, the reg while it was leased had gmac or some crap on it.

no its not leased, it is financed.
