Tire question

Putting new tires on the GXP, don't really have the extra money to stagger with the 255/45, 225/50 setup. Pirelli has some 235/50r18s that are dirt cheap and I'm considering running these on all 4 wheels. Does anyone see any issues with that other than the understeer potential?

Other tire options are a 245/45r18 on the front and then go with the 235/50r18 on the rear, cost difference is minimal. The 255/45s are just too expensive.

With the 245 setup I would lose .8 total inches on the front width compared to 255s, going 235 doubles that to 1.6 inches total. Seems like .8 inches wouldn't cause too much understeer...

Thoughts?

I run 245/45/18 Hankook Ice bear snow tires all winter long. And i have been herd of guys running 235/50 Front and rear.
Currently i have 255/45/18 RE760's on the front and 235/50/18 Goodyear GS-A on the back with no problems.
And i bought a set of 235/50/18 Blizzaks I plan to run in the future.

Idk if you got tires already but the torque steer isnt to bad with the 235/50's I ran that size front and rear on my GXP for over a year
