Tire Pressure Sensor

Hey whats up guys!? New to the Grand Prix world...Just got a 2008 Grand Prix yesterday...Bought it used with 28k on it! It was used as a Dealer Program car and is in mint condition. My only concern is I can't seem to get the Tire Pressure Sensor to turn off. I checked the pressure in all of my tires and they are all ok. I checked with the Dealer (Vision Hyundai) and they told me to just take it to a local GM Dealer as its covered by the Factory Warrenty (36k) Just lookin for some input as I'm not sure as to whether or not this is a common problem and if anyone has any suggestions. Also is this something that is covered under my warrenty? I have the warrenty information in the glove box, thought I'd post here before I tried to thumb thru it to see if it is indeed covered. Thanks for any input/help

Sincerely A Excited Brand New GP Owner

my winter tires don't have the sensors and after two weeks the car stops telling me to service the tire pressure sensors

Take it to your local Pontiac dealer it will be covered as long as all the tire pressure sensors are actually in the wheels. We've had numerous cars where people put tires on them and put normal valve stems in...an expensive mistake.

now lets just say someone did make that mistake....would it cost me to put the tire pressure sensors back in the tires? and if so is that something i should take up with the dealer i purchased it from?
