• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

tire calibration button?

HUH? Never heard of a tire calibration button. If you mean the speedos off because you added taller wheels then you need to tune the pcm for it

I remember reading somewhere about the very first GTPs using the ABS encoders to check for wheel air pressure drops (presumably by monitoring their radius as it changes due to a pressure loss). Maybe this is that :th_confused:

yeah its a tire pressure button mounted to the knee bolster where your right leg (shin) is.
It's def a factory button and wiring plug...looks like the trunk release button in the glovebox.
Anyone else have this button?

only 97's came with that, its kind of stupid, you hold the button until the dummy light flashes on the dic, then you drive around for 10 minutes iirc. If the dummy light on the dic doesn't flash, your tire pressure is good. 97 gtp's don't have traction control either.

There is a lot of stupid little things on 97's. Tuning is a real pita on 97's.
