tinting

yeah i know where i live legal limit is 35 except front only aloud to have 4 inch on windshield but i dont want a cop magnet i want a head turner if that makes sense

I have never had any problems with cops.. And I have had tons sitting next to me at stop lights and stuff....

i have 15% tint all around except the windshield 20% tinted tails tinted fogs and i had black AVS headlight covers from pfyc.com but swapped them out with my HID projectors i got for free not use the the clear look it will take some time to get use to them but i can see better, the covers with stock bulbs you really cant see sh!t when your driving late with out your fogs on

5% visibility basically the darkest there is 2.5% but that's ridicules and i use too take my covers off at night but thats way to much work i like driving with the projectors but the covers dont fit

check out my ride page see how you like 15% it looks a lil darker against white but that's why i went dark i like the look and i didn't spray tint my tails i actually have llumar film over them

OP...just a little food for thought on tinting tail lights...If you're rear ended and person that hit you claims that they did not see your brake lights. Their insurance company will decline the claim. And so will yours. So if your car isnt paid off, you may want to think about it.

God bless the man who put a third brake light in these cars.... 3rd brake light = no tint....

i was gonna but sometimes they fade out over time not always but i didnt wanna chance it mine look pretty good with the 20% film over them

They say that its not sufficient enough. You can actually get denied if your third brake light is tinted and your others arent. Thats why they tint around the third brake light.

No Im saying that if your tails are tinted and your third is not, you will still be denied. They say that it is not sufficient enough. Happened to my buddy. And his were mildly tinted. Mine are quite a bit darker.

I would fight that stuff all day long.. They sell smoked tail lights that are DOT approved... I would take that **** to court...Not that it matters to me anyway.. I am all paid off....

Those are the key words. He tried, but no lawyer would take the case. Cost him $1,850 to fix their car and lost his car. Mines paid off too, thats why Im running them. But I keep a very close eye on the cars behind me.

I would show that mine are no darker then the DOT approve ones.... Plus mine dont even violate state law.... Piss on it...

Its the same thing for helmets...if they dont have DOT approved sticker/stamp, insurance wont cover any injuries.
