Tinting; tail lightsonly or headlights as well?

I am definitely tinting these:

Do not tint the headlights, you'll kill the output. Take the lenses off and paint them black if you want black headlights.
 
I have HID's and with headlight covers it basically puts them back to stock output. But with headlight covers you can always take them off. I dont see why you got halos if you want to tint them.
 


Yep yep, didn't realize you wouldn't be able to see the halo aspect with 'em tinted. Hopefully by friday the tails will be tinted, and I will post a picture!

I opened mine up and painted them black (stocks) on everything but the reflectors then reassembled and gave them a light tint. made them look like they are blacked out unless you look close and still get good light output with 35w 6000k hids. The painting the inside black was crucial to getting them to look blacked out without having to go super dark on the tint
 
I was going to get tails tinted today, but the guy called me at like six in the morning and said he has to try for tomorrow, he's turning out to not be too reliable... Only place on Craigslist to get it done though.
 
do the tint yourself dont pay someone for it, use VHT niteshades, its a spray on and works great i have it on my car, works great and cheaper then paying someone to do it for u
 


look! its a chameleon!

dont even think about tinting the headlights. id tint a bit of the corner on the headlights, but thats it.
