Tinting Suggestions.

Being an average sized white male...I tell you I feel discriminated against by every nationality, color, race etc. There's no men only gym etc.. etc.

I smile though, because every car is built perfectly for me. They put the seat adjuster etc in for all the rest of you. :th_nanana:

15% is just dark enough you can see that theres someone in the car, but cant really make them out. Also just dark enough so people cant see what you have in the car.

All right, thanks! That will be probably be good since people in, and around my city like to mess with people's cars and break into them.

I know, its silver, but for reference mine were tinted when I got it from the dealership. I believe its 15% because its dark, but not as dark as the 10% I had in the Miata, or as dark as the 10% on my buds G6, you cant see him inside his car, but you can see my silhouette when I'm in mine. You can really tell its dark and on white it'll be that much more noticeable.
I would say go as dark as you can on the back and go lighter up front 20%-25% depending on how dark the back is. You want a noticeable difference so the cops will note that your front is lighter so they will be less likely to bother you. Most usually go off how well they can see you while your in the vehicle, so if the front is lighter and they can see you somewhat they will most likely leave you alone :th_thumbsup-wink:
 


I'm looking to get my windows tinted in my white car too.. i'm still debating on whether i want to keep it legal or go a little darker.
 
Id go 5% in the back 15% on the front windows personally it what i have done with all my vehicles and am planning on doing to my GP once the funds are available.
 
Are you in detroit or surrounding city of detroit, because if your in a surrounding city, your going to get tired of getting pulled over everyday for tint. I live like 25 mins north of detroit and i have to say 90 percent of my friends who get pulled over is because of tint.

are you sure? i dont think they can pull you over JUST for tint. same goes with a seat belt.

When I first decided that I wanted tint, I wanted 7% and said to myself "Screw the cops." But then I thought about it some more and decided that I didn't wanna get pulled over every day lolz. But any percentage of looks darker on a light colored car so I'm sure whatever percent you decide on it'll look good!
 


Im sure they could make up some horrible excuse then write you for the tint if they really wanted to. Plus if you have one thing wrong with your car a light goes out or anything they will pull you over for the hell of it. Around here the cops want money

I'm surrounding Detroit. I live in Southgate.
 
Well in MI you can have as dark as you want in the rears. But the fronts have to be left untinted.. this is the law.. but then again.. who listens to police lol

I have 5% in the rears and 20% in the fronts. I've had them for about a year now and haven't gotten pulled over. *knock on wood*

That being said.. I honestly wouldn't do 5% again.. it's hard to see out of at night. I have to roll down my windows and use the side view mirrors.. I love that you can't see into my car though ;)

The 20% is just a tad bit too light for me.. if the tint place I went too had 15%, I woulda been all over it.

My next car will definitely be 15% all around.
