Tinting my windows tomorrow, need suggestions.

Ok, so tomorrow i am going to go get my windows tinted, but i dont know how dark to go. i want it to be pretty dark, but i still want to be able to see out of it at night, and not get stopped by every cop that sees me either. i was thinking 20% all the way around, or 35% front two, 20% back, or 5% back and 35% front. Need help! pics would be helpful too! my car is redfire matallic, if that helps any.
 


I would suggest 15% (if available) ..

I got 5% in my rears and it's pretty hard to see out of night, I mean it's manageable but I don't think I would do it again..

20%'s are on the front windows of mine, and I think they're a bit too light. The place I went too only had 5, 20, 35, and 50%.. try and find one with 15% and do that all around.

dude, nawarkk knows his stuff...im probably going to do 10-15 on the backs...20 if i have to...and i think i have to leave my fronts alone...damn iowa
 
Nice car man! yes i love the redfire metallic! the place im gettting it at only has 5, 20, 35, 50. so ill end up getting 20. it looks good with our color!
 
I think 15% would be so perfect. but the 20% isn't bad. It should look awesome, post some pics when you get them done!

What are the chances of having another member with the same color car and same tint options lol
 


You also have to take into account because different colors effect the tint effect. I would say 20% depending on your local state law.

haha ya i know i got 5 on the rear window and 15 on my sides looks sweet only one warning so far and only had it done 3 weeks lol
 
I would suggest 20 all around. If your interior is dark it will make tint look darker aswell so take that into consideration. I have 5% all around and 20 on whole front windshield. But really sucks at night and in rain.
 


its a legal issue.. depends if you want to get in trouble or not. the perfect tint is 15% all around. i did 35% to stay away from the cops. but still looks good.
 


i got 20% all around, i got pulled over once and i knew it was because of the tint so i rolled my window down before he got to the pasenger side and he only gave me a try and slow down warning
 
I'm from NY and anything over 70% is illegal!!! LOL Dont move here FYI. I got 35% and haven't gotten pulled over yet. I live in TN now and the tint laws are 35%. Check the laws if you dont wanna have to worry.
 
Heres a pic off my phone of the tint, Just got car out of the shop! I went 20% all the way around, im so happy i did! Im very pleased with it. ill get my cannon out someday when its sunny out and get some good pics of the car now.
