Tint..What Percent?

Tint from factory isnt 5-10% that would be pretty dark.. The tint from factory on most is like 35% or 20% from what my family has owned...
Also if it was 5% and you put 15% over it... it would make it lower number not a higher number
 
the % stand for the amount of light that can pass through it. meaning a lower percentage means a darker tint.
 
yea i always mix that up.... but whatever it is from factory... it adds to the percentage... say from factory is 95% then you get 15% it's really like 10%... thats what i meant
 


the min here is 35% but we went to the eye doctor and said that Quote Unquote the Sun hurts there eyes and they cry alot and try to turn away from the sun but with them in there car seat they can only turn there head so far so he gave us a prescription to get the windows tinted to any % that we want so we went to 20% and we like it its good for summer and also at night we are still able to see out good. P.S. might would maybe try the 15% next time....
 
I tried to get ahold of the guy who did my tint he is on vacation right now.
I think the front two are 30 or 35% and the back windows are 20%

Personally I went with 35% on the front four and 20% on the rear. I think it is a great mix of good looks and less cop problems. It is illegal for anything over 70% here in PA and I have not had a problem in about 2 years.
 


OR Law says that if you have a prescription to get the windows tinted darker then that's fine as long as you have a prescription and that's what we did so we could get the windows darker. LOL we blamed it on the kids so we could get them darker lol so if we ever get pulled over we show them the prescription and then we wont get a ticket. Also i would go with the same tint all the way not two kinds of tint looks kinda dum i think but that's me..
