Tint Taillights?

I have been tryin to find smoke taillights for my 07 gp and i came across the tinting method of doing this and i was wondering if anybody has done it to there car and if it really works. I have my doubts about it working because of the curves in the tailight.

Im with MALEFIC, VHT doesnt hold a matc hto what FLIP can do with lenses.

ebay, but I got them tinted by Flip. They use to be clear euro LED tail lights- too rice-y.
