Tint shops in Northern IL

Im looking for a decent tint shop in Norhtern Il that doesnt charge out the ars. Ive been quoted over $340 twice and figure Id ask first before I keep on callin around.
 


theres a place i got mine done an hour west of chicago in glendale heights. i had a coupon for $100 for 5 windows. normally its 130. im going back there to get my 2004 gtp done i think its 170 for 7 windows. lifetime warranty. thats a good deal and its a nice place too. might not be too close to you but better to drive a bit further than paying $300+
 
how far north il are we talking? Im in davenport and a place near me got me all 5 done 30 percent for 200.

Im just in St. Charles I heard of that deal before in Glendale Heights Im only like 20 minutes from there. You say its a good place tho? Im lookin at all 7 170 isnt bad at all. If you got the info on the place????

Im like 2-3 hours from Iowa and a hour from Wisconsin. Sooo we might be a lil far
 


I just got it done @ a shop in St. Charles.... $225 full tint. They gotta redo the front tho. I haven't been able to roll down the windows yet to see the lines at the top but the 2 fronts at the bottom stop almost a half inch from the seal not even close to straight line all jagged and on like 25% of it where it seems to be worse it was covered up with what seems to be a black marker of sorts. Im not to pleased. There gonna redo the fronts tho. They did 2 of my buddies cars and did great. Either way Im pi$$ed

The did a amzing job on bubbies Fusion and SRT4 like flawless. I took it back, got the owner out there and showed him what was up because it was just no good. The owner was SOOO cool about it. He was pi$$ed for me. He tried to call his tint guy right there. So long story short my car is getting 100% retinted next week and hes done using this guy. It his shops name on my tints pretty much ya know. They do amazing audio and all the other tints Ive seen outta there are great maybe he just didnt like my GS lol
 
So I went to autopia.... The owner was real nice and all but I had to take the wifes car back to have a window redone and they redid the wrong window. Besides that they did good on her car my GS on the other hand... TONS of bubbles its only been 3 days but its hot as hell so I think they shoulda been gone by now. Ill give it another week. I have never had this many issues with tints in my life. Autopia isnt bad for the price it was $130 for my whole car. We will see
 
I'm in st charles too. I got my windows done at that autopia place and they screwed one of the windows up. luckily theres a lifetime warranty, I just havent had time to go back.

Yea there prices for around here just cant be beat tho ya know, Normal prices in this are are 250ish. They have screwed up my wifes twice so far and my GS is back there right now for a FULL retint. It sucks cuz there not to far but far enough to make it a pain. My rear window was peeling up & all of my windows had bubble clusters I dont get it. My wifes they scratched this plastic part on her brand new car with 1,000 miles. Long story short they suck. BUT we will see how they do this time if they screw up again they can rip it off and give me my cash back... Im kinda pissed
 


DO NOT GO TO AUTOPIA AUTO SPA. Pretty much just had the tinter aka Gangbanger try and squar off with me. Lon Long story short it was the 3RD TIME i brought my car out there just for them to turn me around because either one of there rinters left early or they didnt have 35% whatever it may be. I got hung up on swore at a bunch of BS. I didnt end up being to friendly myself tho after he clinched his fists at me and flexed. Tht was the end of me being even a little nice. NEVER EVER go there. Seems every time I go there too theres somone else there getting there tint redone. I honestly think its just this one lil gangbanger dude that sux but somhow this craphole did both our cars.
 
I wsa going to go there..... maybe ill reconsider... I think maybe they are doing rush rush jobs because of the demand..

I just talked with the owner and he actualy fired the guy that did my Regal because of the issues I had and just shotty tint jobs. Im taking my cars back to have them redone. He really wanted to fix the issue and was really nice so we will see. Hopfully I will know this week.
