Tie rod question.

Hey guys. I ordered new inner and outer tie rods. I know when replacing outer tie rods, your supposed to count the number of revolutions you do when threading the outer rod off the inner. However, what if I'm replacing both? If the thread length on the new inner tie rod is a little more, it'll throw off the alignment more right? Should I just put the same number of revolutions on the new ones as the old ones had? I know I'll need an alignment anyway.

yeah just do the same as the old ones. theyll work it around at the alignment shop

Yeah count the threads, get it close then get an alignment right after.
