Ticking SSAC Headers ?

Hey i just got my SSAC headers in the mail. Everyone keeps telling me to buy new Clamps and Flex Pipe for them to make sure they're installed tightly with no ticking. The thing is my friend is a very good welder and has his own shop. My question to you is, do you think it's possible with the SSAC kit right from the factory and a good welder to use what the kit comes with and some copper RVT to install these headers tightly without a tick ? If you think it can be done please let me know. If not then i guess i may buy some clamps and a new flex pipe. Thanks ! :)
 


its the INTERLOCK flex, have to get a double wall. they come with a single wall and tick, also dont use the supplied clamps, they blow. You really cant weld in the crossover to the front header and the rear collector unless you do a joint in the middle. ZZ Performance
