I thing I have a lifter ticking.

What is the best way to tell which one it is?

I am planning on swapping it when I replace my intake gasket..

Isn't really a good way to pin point it IMO...Just be easy on it and when you replace them be sure to use Cam/Lifter lube before installing them.

I'd try get some cheap used lifters from Ed Morad or from a member on here, and just replace all of them. Don't go through the dealership though, it will cost way too much.

$110 + shipping for 16 lifters.

Its worth it.

Though its possible its your injectors.

have you tried the screwdriver stethoscope?

Unplug it while the car is running. The engine will start to miss, but if the ticking goes away, you've found it.
