throttle position voltage

I've been having trouble with my 98 gtp accelerating much over 5K, so I was looking at my throttle position sensor and I found it ranged from .4volts to 4.1volts.. my manual says it should range to 4.8 volts.
What are the general voltage ranges for the TPS
Thanks

Not sure but you can yank some out of a junkyard to see if yours shot craps. Should be pretty cheap....or a pocket part LOL :D

Any check engine lights? I've never had a TPS issue on either of my cars...

that shouldnt be causeing your problem .7 of a volt isnt that much. it could be bulid up and dirt in it..have you tried cleaning the tb and then checking the reading
