• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

throttle position sensor trouble

Ok, I need my tps replaced.... obviously I didn't think it would be to hard to do, but I forgot that gm makes everything difficult. I got the special hex bit I need to use, but there is no space to get in at the bottom one straight.. I can only get at it on an angle and it won't grab. To all those that replaced theirs, what tool or method was used? Don't feel like pulling off the whole throttle body.

I use a smeall wrench on a torx bit that would usually go into a screwdriver tip.

Reading MA? If so..there's someone local that may be able to help you out.

Thanks for the reply. After getting frustrated I started using my head last night. I took a small wrench and glued the bit into it and used that... nothing like making your own tool if you don't have the right one. No, reading PA
