Throttle Body Seafoam????

I want to clean out my throttle body with seafoam. i saw this posted on another thread, but no one ever really said HOW to clean it. Where exactly do u put it?
 


You can spray the seafoam directly into the throttle body. Just have someone push the gas pedal all the way down for you to open up the throttle blades. Spray/pour some in and then reconnect the hose.
 
Ok, and how do you remove the hard metal screen on the throttle body? i want to physically clean it. I've looked at it, but i dont want to damage it.
 
Yes, you can also put the seafoam into your gas tank and/or motor oil. Try buying o-ring removal picks to get the screen off. They are like dental picks for mechanics. Nifty.
 


Best way to really get a deep down clean with the Seafoam is to disconect the break booster line, start the car up, and slowly pour the seafoam in the hose (with a funnel of course) when you get to about half a can stall the car out with it, wait 5-10 min. pour the rest in the tank (no need to waste) and start her up, will run rough but you will get NICE white smoke out the tails once its clear your whole upper intake runners, piston tops and valves are nice and clean, repeat every oil change. =)
