Thread Editing Bugs

So some of you have noticed that there is an issue sometimes if you try to edit your thread. There appears to be a bug in our current version of VB. So we are gonna have to work out a VB update at some point, but for now when you make a thread try to avoid using special characters in your post. Those seem to be what is causing all the headaches. We are working on a more permanent fix.
 


Is this still an issue? I can't seem to edit my own threads. Near the bottom of the page, it says "You may not edit your posts."
 
It is still an issue. I turned off the ability for users to edit their posts so that it wouldnt get all screwed up.

Update. I guess it was not editable after a certain amount of time. They are editable immediately after.
On another note, the login is funky. Lots of "Oops, we ran into security issues." This seems related to not seeing a post posting, thus double inputting or not be able to reply to someone's post.
 
I wonder if its a post spam protection...

Long story short, the software has built in measures to prevent bots and spam from flooding the forums. But at the same time, for some damn reason bots love to hang out here from time to time which can result in shit slowing down. So i wonder if youre trying to post something or do something while its pending "posting" what ever you just did and it thinks you are trying to flood... I will look into it.
