Thoughts on mods

Ok, well I thought it was funny anyways....
Too early in the week for a little humor??

And blue, I'm sure one could ruin a tranny fairly fast, but then again I'd hope that a tranny in a 'Stang would be built a bit better given the higher demand required by the extra power.

Shouldn't happen in the first place, but I'm sure if the Gvt finds anything wrong (which it appears there is) there will be some sort of action on Fords part.

And not to be shooting you down (I agree that too much HP can ruin a tranny) but I haven't heard of a Stang tranny assploding yet (even with aftermarket bolt-ons).....but it's just too bad they can't get them to shift right under high-RPM conditions. :(
 
I guess what I'm trying to get at here is I haven't heard of one (as you put it) assploding. Shifting issues yes, but I haven't heard of guys having trannies explode. Through my dads place of employment I've seen transmissions physically broken into more pieces than one wants their tranny to be in. Granted, those are on diesel trucks that crank out some pretty high performance numbers, but when I think of "assploding" that's what comes to mind.

Perhaps there have been guys with assploded trannies. If so it appears I do need to catch up on my Mustangs more. ;)
 
been reading on these stang trannies exploding seems to me the only one blowing to pieces are the ones that go to the track ALOT. or beat on them Everyday hardcore. we shouldnt be talking bout bad trannies as ours seem to be made out of pixy dust and bubblegum lols.
