• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Thoughts on 911.....

history repeats itself, and seems to get more powerful with time. we didnt sleep when the commies were going to come and eat us at night. why would our government let us sleep now? money/ power is the name of the game, and with american citezens thrown into a frenzy of emotions like we were back then, its hard to truley see.

but no matter how fukked up our government is at the end of the day i get to come home to a house with my family. Sit and eat a meal. then fall asleep watchingn mindless comedy on my big screen tv. im sure many many people would kill to say the same

very true silva but at the same time its shouldnt have been allowed to happen. Some say i cant accept change I say this is change noone should have to "accecpt"

September 11th for me was October 23rd 1983 as a 23 yr. old LCPL walking the fence

i didnt read anything up until my own post: this **** was 10 years ago. is it time to stop caring? i think so. yes, i am that guy.

Wars create jobs whether people want to believe it or not. Some would say our country was better off a year after the 9/11 than now. In some aspects I certianly believe that too. My trainup to go to Iraq started in Octobetr of 2005 I didnt get finished with the tour until August 2007. I came home to a mess. Gas was getting insane, housing market sucked, and the economy was about to collapse. With out wars their cannot be peace. If the wars were correctly justified well time will tell other wise maybe.

There can be peace with out war. Its that with out war there can't be power all war does is shift power. Our government will only get worse war has nothing to do with helping us.
I've said it before and will say it. Again its our constitutional right under the second amendment to fight back against what our government has become

There can be peace with out war.

but no profits.

it was building 5 that went down 10 minutes behind schedule -- at terminal velocity.

Haliburton wanted to build a pipeline across Iraq --- but I'm sure that had nothing to do with anything.

We broke how many protocols that day? No air force within 600 miles? coincidences I'm quite sure.

ugh.

Ya and there was security issues starting 2 weeks before the attacks aswell the person running the security company was a bush hmmm. I won't say we ar run by goldman sachs haliburton. Bildergurg and other big money cause that would be crazy. We are a democrazy right mmmmhmmmm

give your senator a call and see if you can get him on the line. I *know* any of those companies you mentioned can --- as well as BP, Conoco, Exxon/Mobil, Health South, BCBS, Dole et al can --- and get results. me and you? we're friggin' cannon fodder at this point.

f'in ridiculous.

Are you tryingot say lobbyists are the right answer ?!!!! Man I sure hope your not serious!!

sadly I am. the reason why is the congress critters won't stop what's happening now, too much money in it. so you'd have to fight fire with fire. once you get things under control you can start fixing things.

remember --- we're talking about a logic free zone here.

Fighting fire with fire?? :th_laugh-lol3: You have to be kidding me! Lobbyists will do the same thing they did to the auto industry and the heathcare system like those are 2 very awesome programs right! What do you think the lobbyists are for? Um personal interest money and greed would be one hell ofa good guess! Thinking lobbyists are the right answer is like asking for the stock market to crash gas to return to 5 dollars a gallon and the unemployment rate to continue to rise! Man I have no idea how you think lobbyists would solve ANYTHING!

nope.

Lobbyists will do the same thing they did to the auto industry and the heathcare system like those are 2 very awesome programs right!

If you hire a lobbyist they do what you tell them to do, not what they feel like doing. I don't know why that's a difficult concept to grasp.

What do you think the lobbyists are for?

to represent you to larger entities --- in this case FedGovCo. They'd be working for you, doing what you tell them to do. It'd be no different than hiring a tuner to do your car --- who would do what you tell them to do. As it is now you have *zero* representation in DC..... and you apparently don't want any since you're not willing to do the dance that it takes to get noticed.

Um personal interest money and greed would be one hell of a good guess!

they work for who hire them. Jesus --- what's so hard to get?

Thinking lobbyists are the right answer is like asking for the stock market to crash gas to return to 5 dollars a gallon and the unemployment rate to continue to rise!

you don't understand how things work. that's fine. I don't dig the drama -- but whatever.

Man I have no idea how you think lobbyists would solve ANYTHING!

because if I hire a lobbyist to cut someone off at the knees that's what they'll do. How do you think we ended up so far upside down? lobbyists. doesn't mean they're bad --- it's just that none of them work for you.

I've worked at a place where we had a DC lobbyist --- and you'd be amazed at what those guys can do. I guess not seeing it first hand -- nor thinking of them working for you, tilts the tables a little.

Or are you naive' enough to think you'll eliminate them without taking them down first? :th_laugh-lol3:

just sayin'.
