i was out and about the other day even though its snowing like crazy here (in pittsburgh) i washed my car cuz i hate the salt residue look. and i went to best buy to look at head units and some guy was like tell your boyfriend he's doin a good job on his ride... really. really. :th_angry-cussing: i know my car isnt all that and a bag of potato chips, and i dont have all the mods everyone else has but i love her! i know i have a somewhat aggressive style with my cars but why is it so hard to understand for (some) men to understand that girls know some or alot about cars. and if she is driving a nice car its hers instead of daddy's or boyfriends. and she PAID FOR ALL OF IT herself! :th_bangheadonwall:
 


That would be why we shouldn't assume.. If a girl is driving a nice car I always think wow a women that likes horsepower and cars...
 
I hear that but lets say 75 % of women do not know much in the way of the automobile, nor what it takes to modify cars. That being said I love it when a girl mods and likes to show off what she has built... Thats definatly a hot quality

Around here we have a lot of women riding around in oldschools lowriders and ricers
its safe to bet 80% have no clue what they are driving.
Example my wife We were looking at cars online and she say's "Whats the difference between thunderbirds and firebirds"
I showed her 2 pics and then said what car would you rather drive she pointed to the ls1 powered bird over the s/cd tbird lol I said thats the difference.
 
When I work on my car, my girlfriend is right there with me, when we go to the junk yard, she's pulling parts for her car while I just look around. haha she's done a lot to her car cosmetic wise, but her biggest thing is she doesn't want her Grand Am to look like a "boy car." I respect all the women out there that work on their own cars. Espically when it comes to the fact that if something breaks and they take it to the shop they wont get ripped off by mechanics.

I love being at the parts store and helping the other customers cuz the employees are too dumb. I had to hook up a grown a$$ mans AC to be charged. 2 hoses threw him off, which one goes where? It was great. I know he hated me being right cuz a girl was telling him how to do it. hehe
 
theres been a few girls in our program at school that kicked a$$ at turning a wrench but they all washed out its kinda weird one girl out worked almost all of us she was a bad B!tch. She ended up getting in an accident and never came back kinda sucks she was always in my lab group
 
I know what you mean girl!!! I had something like that happen back last year in Memphis!! I was standing somewhat near the camaro and some guys came up and was looking at it and talking about it...and one of the guys was trying to name off everything it had and was like ya that car wouldn't be crap without spray.. (I have NEVER sprayed the car) well that peeked my intrest so I walked a little closer and I just put in my two cents..the car has never been sprayed..the guy looked me up and down and said like you would know..and of course my redheaded temper was screaming in the inside PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE! But I just smiled and said how do you know? He went on to tell me how he could tell..the whole time im laughing so hard on the inside! Then he went to ask me why I was there and of course what I was doing later on that night..at that time I got in my car and pulled to the staging lane..his face was priceless!! I know he felt like a douchbag! But of course I wasent going to let him get away so easy..sooo after I made my pass and got my slip I took it to him and said here..no spray 10.7..and he STILL asked for my number!! LMAO.
 
A friend of mine works on all her own stuff. She does the same as anyone else asking questions of what or how to ...but she does all the work.

Heck.. as of a couple hours ago, she'll be swapping a new motor into her car. I hope she won the race...but the Acura she raced is still running..lol
 


Its sad i had a girlfriend once that didnt even know how to put gas in her car Yes im serious But she was very hot and very sweet so kinda ade up for her ignorance lol

Well...some guys like that in a girl. I guess they feel like they are the "man". I have noticed that most the guys who give girls a hard time in the car scene are still a virgin or trying to compensate for areas they are lacking....:th_thumbsup-wink: Because a "real man" would not feel threatened by a girl who has the same passion that he does.

Nowadays Im married so i supose it just doesnt matter what i want...
 


O.k., but how clean do you keep the interior & trunk? I'd have to say the vast majority of vehicles that are driven by, and usually owned by females have unkept,dirty, and cluttered interiors.Why is that?
