So you're saying that they did not know any better back then? And if they know better now like I think you're trying to say then why did they not alter the misinformation they have up?

I am not justifying anything for them, just making a statement. Since SLP would toss a 3.5" on a pretty much stock GTP back when they were new, a lot of folks believe that to be a safe practice. We have figured out quite a bit since then, especially when it comes to scanning and tuning. Right, wrong, or indifferent, folks will have to learn one way or another not to trust just one input on a subject; Darwin was on to something, I think. :th_winking:

I will admit that Tim gave poor responses. In fact, they were downright horrible. Tim did not explain the situation to you or give thought out responses and he should have. I apologize for this problem on Tim’s behalf because those replies are totally unacceptable.
