• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Thinking of changing oil

Oh, my bad. In that case, dont. If you want the trans to run cooler, there are two great and proven ways to do so. First you can install an auxiliary cooler or you can run synthetic transmission fluid which normally drops temps about 15 - 20* or so. Other than that, I wouldnt run any additives in the transmission fluid or the motor oil.

The major thing that people overlook when wanting to use additives is additive package compatibility. There could be something in the additive you want to use that may not be completely compatible with the fluid you are using. Typically there is not much of an immediate issue, but with the transmission fluid and as thin as it is to start with I personally wouldnt want to run something that would alter its chemistry at all.

lmao streetwolf...i think he meant trans fluid not "oil" ...something to ad to the fluid itself to make it run cooler.
