Think my wheels are going to fall off!?

Ok so here's the deal, I had an alignment at Midas, and they didn't tighten the jam nut down and then my inner started to work out of the outer, caught it before it came out but the treads were damaged, so I replaced both inners and outers and the wheel bearing on the right because it went out cuz my alignment was ****ed, so I have 03 lca's kyb agx's dna springs, everything is new within 2500 miles basically, and it was just handling like crap, bump steering like crazy... I figured my springs finally settled onto my bump stops or something so I jacked them up and took about 3/4th of an inch off and it didn't do a damn thing. If I go on a crowned road it feels like the wheels wanna do whatever they feel like, and it's just scary, do I new to cut more bump stop off? Or is there a simpler answer, maybe I need a new rack? It's an 05 with just over 100k on it, the guy at the place I just got another alignment at said my left wheel bearing is loose (which I already ordered a replacement) but when I jack the car up it's mayyyybe 1/32 of play, is that enough to cause it to to all over? Everything feels super tight on the ground, ball joints and bushings and everything, every piece of the suspension is new. Any ideas? The springs rode fine too. All up untill a week ago or so.... My cv's do have a little slop, but I'm replacing them with stage 2's when I build my trans this winter... Any ideas or insight? Hopefully it's just as simple as taking more off the bunpstops (which were also brand new haha)

So you replaced a wheel bearing, inner and outer tie rods and the car gets squirrelly? If you haven't got an alignment after the tie rods and wheel bearing you need another one. You should have went back to midas and made them pay to fix that crap if they failed to tighten down the nut.

Yeah tried that and they offered a discount or some **** I got mad, and I got another alignment yesterday

As of right now everything under the car is new all 4 corners except the left front wheel bearing, because they only had 1 in stock when I did the other 3 and I'm not laying 180 bucks for one at autozone when 60 at rockauto for the same part number lol. But the wheel bearing isn't even making noises and like I said the play in it is less than 1/32nd it's just a tiny tiny wiggle

Jesh thats bull****. If you say everything is new and tight I'm tempted to say tires but if they didn't do it before then I'm shooting blanks. Maybe this new alignment is bad? I'm sure others will have suggestions.

I can only think I'm riding on bump stops or something? I can post the alignment sheet but they said everything was in spec and I've lifted the car a couple times and made sure everything was tight, whoever is lowered how much bump stop do you have?

Well it's fine but a crowned road it wants to steer it's self and it's hard to describe. Like the one road by my house is super crowned and the wheel went to like 2 o clock and I was going straight then it snapped back to normal and I was still going straight

It's not really a wander... Normal flat road it's fine just rough riding and when I hit a bump on the left wheel snaps to the left and back and vice versa, would my rack go out at 100k? My buddy's gf has a 04 base model with 300k and it's still solid lol...

my car was all over the place if i hit a line in the pavement, or jumped on it from a roll, it would pull to the right, then correct it and then its pulling to the left, uneven pavement was a fight to keep it straight.

had a friend help. i jacked the whole front up, both wheels off the ground, had him push and hold the wheel while i pushed and pulled my side, no play, did the same to the other side, no play, but if you pushed one side the other moved with it. steering wheel not moving at all. chalked it up to internal rack slop and death.

took it out this morning, got f ed on the delivery of my new one. so its sitting till monday now.

bye bye old rack lol

Well found an issue, my mevotech lca's had the ball joints bolted in, but they weren't tightened down all the way and it had a little slop in it, but only if you moved it at like 1 and 7, so if you get those lca without the rivets make sure you tighten the bolts yourself, now before I drop the car back down, how much bump stop should I rub? I cut off 3/4, but maybe I should cut off more before I drop it? It's just kinda a pain since my good jack broke and I gotta use 2 spare tire jacks haha

Yeah, curious if Midas losened them to get a little camber adjustment out of them or what... Cuz after they did my alignment the strut bolts were loose too and **** was flopping around... And when I installed everything, I used a 3/4 drive snap on impact to put those suckers on there and I zipped them for about 20-30 clicks each...,

But before I put it back on the ground, should I cut off more bump stop? It settled to about a 2 inch drop

well if its bangin hard on those roads maybe a little more.
I didn't touch mine at all with SSCs. I never really bottom out much.
