Think im leaking coolant

Ok so my low coolant light light went on a few weeks ago so my first instinct was to go buy some coolant and dump it in. The "low coolant" light went off for about a week and then came on again. I grabbed another container of coolant and used it cautiously this time seeing as the light only came on when my car was first started then turned off once the engine was warm. After checking the engine bay for a leak I noticed a very small puddle of what I think may be coolant directly below the intake manifold where it says hidden bolt here or something or other right where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine..any suggestions as to what the problem may be? Thankss in advance

These have a couple of issues normally,i have recently had to replace my sensor.light came on and rad was full.no problems after i replaced it.Also gm has updated these intake gaskets a few times,if they are the plastic original gaskets they need to be replaced to the new thicker aluminum ones, they work much better.i would bet that would take care of your problems

The coolant light is bs Mine comes on and i have flushed the system and bled it still comes on every morning hell may need to bleed it again

I don't have pictures right now but ill try and get some up soon. I've read that these cars are notorious for lower intake manifold gasket leaks and I was really hoping that thy wasn't the case lol. How much does the new sensor light cost roughly? Starting to think I should take it to the shop

The sensor thru the dealer is around $60 bucks.the lower intake is not hard to reseal.if you want to bring it out to denver i can help you with it. lol.
